St Dogmaels 0 Crannog 5
Crannog reached their second final of the season after they ran out convincing winners over St Dogmaels under the Lampeter floodlights.
Dylan Vaughan Evans and his men will now take on Felinfach in the final on May Day.
This game started at a frenetic pace, with both teams trying to get a foothold in the game and it was the Saints who settled first and they were looking really dangerous especially from the set pieces of Adam Williams and they were unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions but without really forcing a save from Rhydian Morgan in goal.
However it was Crannog who eventually scored the first and against the run of play, after great work by Gary Davies and Dylan Davies, who were both outstanding on the night, combined well to set up George Colven for his first of four, at the far post.
This took the wind out of the Saints a little and soon after, Colven again got through on goal to finish well to double the lead. Gary Davies then went close on a couple of occasions, but Justin Walters in goal saved well and Davies was also denied by the woodwork.
St Dogmaels suffered a huge blow after the break when Adam Williams and Jason Williams were forced to leave the field and Rhys Jones was also suffering from an injury picked up the week before and their opponents made the most of this and added another goal when Colven netted to complete a fine hat trick. The star striker added a fourth late on and just before the end Marc Davies got in on the act, scoring directly from a corner to complete a miserable evening for Saints manager Steve Williams and his men. However despite the disappointment he was full of praise for a Crannog team who his side beat the week before!:” What a difference a week makes but fair play to Crannog, they were excellent on the night and fully deserved their victory
“We didn’t play well and if I am honest we were quite poor but we knew some of our key men were carrying knocks and they turned out to be worse than we thought.”
Crannog manager Dylan Vaughan Evans singled out keeper Rhydian Morgan for pulling off two great saves in the second half to deny the Saints and commented:”I must also give credit to the Saints as they were up against it with their injuries and they never stopped working hard and putting us under pressure.”

Cilgerran Rovers 0 Newcastle Emlyn 1
Newcastle Emlyn closed in on the runners up slot with a narrow victory over the Rovers at Parc Y Dre.
The Reds who harbour ambitions to join the Spar mid Wales league created plenty of chances in the opening half but didn’t have the firepower to take advantage although a goal eventually arrived when front runner Peter Almond netted.
Cilgerran put the visitors under great pressure in the second half and Emlyn were forced to scramble the ball away from their goal line on two occasions to keep Cilgerran out and the hosts were unlucky not to sneak a share of the spoils late on.
The reds are three points ahead of third place side Lampeter and have a game in hand.
Division 2
Ffostrasol 5 Aberporth 2
Ffostrasol clinched the second division title after they enjoyed a comfortable win over Aberporth by 5-2. In top form for the wanderers was star striker Dion Phillips who bagged four goals and there was one for his strike partner Carwyn Morgan.
Maesglas 1 Pencader 3
Pencader put a dent in the promotion aspirations of Maesglas after they came away from Maes Radley with a 3-1 success.
Liam Gordan, Ashley Summers and Justin Elliot were the men on target for the visitors. Kieran Harman was on target for the Blues.
