JUNIOR FOOTBALL
There was a real hive of activity on the junior pitches by the astro turf strip in Cardigan last week when over fifty young footballers were in action for their opening matches of the season
The Cardigan Junior under 6’s, 8’s and 10’s faced their Crannog counterparts whilst the under 12’s entertained Ffostrasol under 12’s.
This was the first ever game for the under 6’s with many of them playing their first ever ‘proper game’ and judging from their faces they loved every minute of it and according to head coach Jane Williams they all said that they had ‘enjoyed their experience’!
If there are any children who are is interested in joining they will be warmly welcomed at training on Tuesday nights from 5-6 on the astro turf pitch just across from the Leisure Centre in Cardigan by the Secondary School.
