These very lucky footballers of the future from the Newcastle Emlyn and Carmarthen areas have this week left for sunny Barcelona where they will play in football tournaments over two days.

The highlight of the visit for the eight boys representing the Under Ten team of Carmarthen Town will be a match at the iconic Nou Camp Stadium, home to the UEFA Champions League winners of 2015.

The youngsters have played in several tournaments over the years, including playing at Aston Villa, Reading and the Super Cup in Cardiff, but this is the first time they will play abroad.
