Cardigan under 13’s 55 Milford Haven under 13’s 12
Cardigan completed a double over Milford Haven RFC when the under 13’s added to the impressive win by the senior team in Division Three West when they completed a comfortable victory over their Milford counterparts.
The score was not a true reflection of the game throughout as the visitors had their moments and scored two very good tries and stuck at it even when the game began to run away from them and they showed great committment and spirit.
The Cardi’s though were a bit too powerful overall with hard running back rower Ifan Vaicaitis in particular proving very difficult to put down and he crossed for two individual tries.
Cai Ifans went one better than his team mate as he helped himself to a hat trick of tries and there were two for Liam Jones and one apiece for Saul McGrath, Tomi Davies whilst Tomos Tomkinson slotted over five conversions.
Overall a very impressive performance from Cardigan.
