Cambrian Tyres League round up.
Bow Street Reserves increased their lead at the top of the league following an emphatic win away to rivals Penrhyncoch Reserves by 10-0.
The Magpies who remain unbeaten in the league are now six points ahead of second placed Bont but the Tangerines have three games in hand and will be favourites to overhaul the leaders. Tregaron Turfs are handily placed in third just ten points behind Bow Street and crucially they have played five games less so the tail end of the season promises to be a very intriguing one.
The scorers for the Cae Piod side were Joseph Williams with two, Osian Burrell who also bagged a brace, Pete James, Ryan Evans, Jac Williams, Shaun Jones, Mathew Williams and an own goal.
In the other game played in the division Borth Reserves drew 2-2 with Machynlleth Reserves.
Second Division Trophy
Two goals apiece from Chris Bush and Gaz Lewis helped steer Penparcau to a well deserved 5-2 win over Tywyn Bryncrug after an entertaining game.
Tywyn came flying out of the blocks and attacked from the first whistle and quickly got a well deserved goal on the 20 minute mark before Chris Wylde set up Gaz lewis at the back post to level the game.
Bush grabbed the first of his two just before the interval after Lewis had done the spadework and Lewis turned from provider to scorer five minutes into the second half when he fired home a free kick from the edge of the penalty box.
Bush nailed his second with a smart header from a Wylde free kick before Tywyn Bryncrug added their second of the afternoon. However a well taken goal from young striker Rhys Davies killed the game off to secure a fine win for Penparcau
